It's been a LONG while

Haven't blog lately so here goes,
updates on my life
Final EXAM has officially END! yippy! School's Out =)
and we're leaving Subang to our New Lakeside campus in 2010 semester 5! can't wait
Been pushing for the entire year it has been relief to put a stop on college life although there's still work to finish up and well Work never ends so oh well, Looking forward to Christmas very Much this year!
I was out the entire day after the last paper and well, Live & Inspired in Starbucks Bangsar Village II was a refreshing moment on some challenges faced by an entrepreneur as well as...which line you shouldn't go into by Jason Lo - Singer, DJ, now CEO of Tune Talk! his funny! very entertaining.
my friends, we had a good time of fellowship over dinner when I met up with them as well as meeting great inspirational people at Starbucks =)

*
2012
was Awesome too, love the GPS thingy (you'll know if you've watch) so GO watch!

*
My holiday is gonna be a blast but for the 1st week I'm gonna lay off most of my work to relax & chill before I go on with the other matters. January 2010 I'm ready for you!

I realised that nowadays I've been so busy and it really struck me that some Time Management article might help in some ways ...at least to remind me to learn the Art of Balancing.
Here is one from CPA Australia a newsletter I've received via Email.

Make your life more manageable by incorporating these tips into your life:

Prepare a schedule
By setting out your schedule in advance using a diary or a timetable, you can also see when you will have time to take a break, catch up with friends or do extra study. You may even find time to take on a voluntary position or work experience during your holidays.

Plan ahead
Once your schedule is in place, think about what you can do to make it more manageable.

Set short- and long-terms goals
Goals help you stay motivated and on track, particularly when it comes to study. Short-term goals, such as aiming to begin an assignment four weeks before its due, can help you reach long-term goals, such as improving your end-of-year marks.

Prioritise your tasks and commitments
If you find you have so many commitments that you can't keep up, it's time to start prioritising. Think about what commitments or tasks are important in reaching your goals and what is non-negotiable.

Stop and think before you say 'yes'
Do you have the time to take on any extra commitments? Answer this question honestly and you may save yourself any extra stress. Committing yourself to too many things and making promises you know you'll want to keep will only stress you more in the long run.

Presentation Tips

- Start with a quotation.

- Use pictures instead of bullet points and your message retention should increase. Research suggests that this could be by a factor of five.

- Involve the audience. & make eye contact.

- Live with the fear.

- Proper attire – clean and neat. Your audience will be looking at how your dressed.

- KISS method - Keep It Simple Stupid.

- Don't use PowerPoint sound effect - It may seem funny to have applause at the end of a slide, or a screeching sound for a new bullet point, but it will turn off the audience.

- Check out the room before your presentation - Make sure the room has everything that you need and make sure the presentation works on the screen.

- Don't drink the night before - and certainly don't get drunk.
